Gilded Destiny is built with modding in mind. The game comes with a powerful editor that allows you to make whatever content your heart desires, from a simple event chain to a total conversion mod – all without needing to write a single line of code. Create new policies, change population groups, add new leaders, redraw borders, or even change the map of the entire globe!

Warfare With Direct Control

We believe a single progress bar per battlefront simply will not do the era justice. Issue commands directly to your units to take advantage of tactical opportunities, or let the AI take control to help you manage wars on multiple fronts. Face both the short- and long-term challenges of warfare, ranging from logistics and terrain to the treatment of wounded veterans.

Players can meticulously construct their cities—naming them and placing buildings. The placement of each building and each city itself has certain advantages based on terrain, transportation connections, and surrounding infrastructure. So in addition to the historical cities in the game, you can create and mod any as you wish and require in building your nation to fit your goals in creating an alternate history. Why are we doing Kickstarter?

To begin, we want to emphasize that we have the necessary budget to bring the game to life in line with our initial vision. The decision to launch the Kickstarter Campaign is driven by two primary objectives. Firstly, it enables us to expand the game's official content significantly, introducing more distinctive events, additional leaders, and an array of enriching elements. Secondly, it provides us with a direct avenue to increase the project's visibility, a crucial step in preparing for Alpha testing and incorporating valuable player feedback. Your support will empower us to enhance the game's content, creating a more immersive experience for all our players.

Will I get access to Alpha?

Yes! Alpha Access will be available for backers with tier Merchantman or above. As the game progresses towards release, your experience with Gilded Destiny in the Alpha phase will offer key insight into future builds. In developing the game, we greatly value feedback and incorporate it into the game at release.
